Florida is located in the Southeastern USA, and is bounded by the Atlantic on its West coast, and the Gulf of Mexico on its East coast. There are some fine restaurants at Cocoa Beach Pier and some superb stretches of white sandy beach all along the coast. At Daytona on Speedway Blvd see the new motorsport attraction the history of NASCAR stock car racing, road racing, etc., spanning nearly a century. CLEARWATER: Is about a 2 hour drive. Make an early start, stop for breakfast on the way, pass through Tampa over one of the bridges (which is quite an experience) and there you will find Clearwater with its miles of golden sand (the right place to get a sun tan) there are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the sea front.
